Job searching in today’s economy is tough – especially if you are a mature worker trying to adapt to a rapidly changing labour market.
Targeted Initiative for Older Workers (TIOW) offers unemployed workers age 55-64 with the job search support and skills training needed to become competitive and successful in today’s market
90% of recent participants secured employment within 3 months of completing the program.
TIOW Participants:
- Participate in a 6 week job search and training program
- Receive certifications – First Aid and CPR, WHMIS, and Safe Food Handling
- Create an individualized training program
