Aquatic Employment Opportunities
We are always looking for qualified Lifeguards and Swimming Instructors to join our team! The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce also operates the Harrison Park pool on behalf of the City of Owen Sound.
Use your Training, Get a Job
The minimum qualifications to work in YMCA Aquatics (including Harrison Park Pools) are:
- 14 years old
- Current Bronze Cross
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C
- Pre-NLS
- Applicants who have current NLS and/or Assistant Swimming Instructor certification will be given preference.

Be a Volunteer
We are always looking for volunteers to help us out in our two indoor pools during the year, and at the Harrison Park pool during the summer months. What a fun way to make a difference in your community and earn your required volunteer hours.
